ThisIsManufacturing is an online resource for the manufacturing community in the Northwest of England featuring written features, video and audio content. The site provides a social network that allows users to create profiles as individuals, upload companies to the Directory, create groups, contribute to the Forums and Group Discussion Boards, add events to the event calendar and interact with each other to further their business objectives. The website is operated by Junction YK Ltd and sponsored by the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).

Registration

If you wish to become part of the community and build a profile of yourself or your business, then you will be required to register with us. Registration can be completed via the registration form here. It is a simple process and will only take a few moments. Registration with us allows users to build a profile of themselves and their businesses and share information with others in the business community. Users who do not wish to register will have access to the content and topics provided on the site but will not be able to create a profile, communicate or network with other members, a primary reason for the site.

Membership

The registration process is completed by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the registration form. Users must also choose a password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account.

In using the site, users agree to (a) provide accurate, current and complete information as may be prompted by the registration section on the site; (b) maintain the security of passwords and identification; (c) maintain and promptly update the registration information, and any other data provided to ThisIsManufacturing, to keep it accurate, current and complete; and (d) be fully responsible for all use of personal accounts and for any actions that take place in relation to personal accounts.

Registered users can attain many benefits from the site and share ideas and create alliances with other registered users. As a registered user, you can create and join groups, create threads and post to forums and message other registered users. However, when becoming a registered user, you agree that you will not:

•Use the site in any unlawful manner or in any other manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the site
•Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity
•Upload, post, transmit, share or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, solicitations, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation
•Upload, post, transmit, share, store or otherwise make available content that, in the sole judgment of ThisIsManufacturing is objectionable or which restricts or inhibits any other person from using or enjoying the site, or which may expose ThisIsManufacturing or its users to any harm or liability of any type.

Junction YK Ltd reserves the right to remove, without notice, any content including without limitation bulletin board postings, articles, and private messages. Junction YK reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to the website.

Termination of Membership

You can close your account through the website at any time. If you close your account, we will remove your name and other personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable data and you will not have access to other users' profiles or be able to communicate or network with other members.

In the event that a user breaches any of these terms and conditions, Junction YK Ltd reserves the right to remove all details of such member from the website and terminate their membership and delete their account immediately.

Limitation of Use

This website is for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, licence, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or services obtained from the website, whether printed, visual, audio, electronic, scanned or in any other form except where it is expressly stated that such information or services are available for such purpose.

Junction YK Ltd, on behalf of the NWDA, operate ThisIsManufacturing to allow the many businesses that operate within the Northwest Region to interact with each other and other organisations.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in the United Kingdom in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this website.
