The conference, through workshops, will address several areas of interest including waste to energy technologies, the treatment of fibrous waste, organic waste, metals sorting, and plastics and chemicals. It will also review the North West’s R&D capabilities in recycling and waste treatment, investors clubs and networks. The conference will also have an international flavour. Members of the international collaborative research network (ICR) from Japan and Germany will also present at the conference.

There will be over 30 companies exhibiting and demonstrating current activities in the sector.
